This
was a project done while working at consultancy KWA in Sydney. It was a project for a couple of brilliant guys; Mark and Max who had started a spray on tanning business together. The company was wildly successful, yet they wew still supplying their customers (beauty salons) with home handyman spray guns for applying the spray tan. We also transformed their compressor into a tower that could be used to hold solution and the gun when not in use.It was both a styling and engineering challenge, but in the end it was well received and went into the permanent collection of the Powerhouse Museum Sydney. The styling was a credit to a great designer called Chris Frank (formerly of IDEO and Sony USA) who worked at KWA at the time and helped me form my naiive sketches into something desireable.
